Ondo State Youth Network Commends Hon. Otito Atikase and NDDC for Transformative Free Medical Outreach
The Ondo State Youth Network extends our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Otito Atikase, the respected Commissioner for Ondo State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). His visionary dedication to human development shines through in the recent NDDC Free Medical Outreach, which aims to benefit over 7,000 residents in our state’s oil-producing communities.
This remarkable initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Initiative led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, goes beyond just providing medical care. It embodies a powerful act of governance that resonates with empathy, inclusion, and a commitment to investing in human capital.
By delivering essential healthcare to our most vulnerable populations, Hon. Atikase and the NDDC demonstrate that true leadership lies in the ability to heal, empower, and uplift. In a socio-economic environment often characterized by inequality, such acts of kindness transform the narrative of governance into one filled with real impact and hope.
As the leading youth organization in Ondo State, the Ondo State Youth Network fervently encourages Hon. Atikase and the NDDC to continue collaborating with us on future development programs. Our organization, representing the vibrant youth of Ondo, is eager to partner in initiatives that foster youth engagement, empowerment, and skill acquisition, ensuring that the younger generation plays an active role in the state’s transformative journey.
In this context, we understand that health is not just the absence of illness but the presence of opportunities: the chance to learn, create, and contribute meaningfully to society. Therefore, initiatives like this free medical outreach should not only be celebrated but also seen as a stepping stone towards a healthier, more engaged community.
